From here, all roads lead to the exciting historical and recreational
attractions of Montana and Wyoming. A community of 6,343 offers small
town living with Billings, Montana's largest city only 16 miles to the
east. Laurel has three grade schools, one middle school and one high
school. our Class A rated schools are home to the Laurel Locomotives.
Laurel also has one private Christian School kindergarten through
grade 12. Our major employers are Cenex Oil Refinery, Montana Rail
Link and Woods Power Grip. The mainstay of our economy is agriculture.
Sugar beets, wheat, corn and cattle are the major products. Our town
supports local small businesses offering everything you need within
our city limits and surrounding area. West of Laurel the renowned
